The two abducted female students of Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU, Ayetoro Campus, Ogun State, who were reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen have been freed, The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, confirmed their release
DAILY GIST had reported how the unknown Gunmen stormed the students apartment and whisked away two female student in front their hostel.
It was gathered that the two female students were released in the late hours of Tuesday, DAILY GIST however could not ascertain if any ransom was paid.
Confirming the release of the students, the governor said, “This is to announce that we have secured the release of Precious Adeyemo and Abiola Oyefule – both OOU students recently kidnapped in Ayetoro.
“I appreciate the efforts of the Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Police and other security agencies involved in the exercise that will now see the ladies reunited with their respective families.”
