The Anambra State Police Command has given a report explaining how Gunmen attack a former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Charles Soludo, on Wednesday night.

The police command in its reaction on Thursday didn’t disclose Soludo’s present whereabout or location but noted that he is safe.

Soludo was reportedly attacked during an interactive session with youths in the Isuofia community in the Aguata Local Government Area of the state.

The unknown gunmen during the attack killed three of the security details attached to the former CBN governor.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Monday Kuryas, during an interview with Channels TV, said Soludo is safe.

He, however, disclosed that the Commissioner for Public Utilities in the state, Emeka Ezenwanne, was abducted by the gunmen.
