Two of Football’s greatest star, Messi and Ronaldo have missed out in the year’s UEFA Champions League Team of the Season.
The list was released by UEFA’s Technical Observer panel.
The list revealed on Tuesday, May 31, was dominated by Liverpool (Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Fabinho) and Real Madrid ( Thibault Courtois, Luka Modri?, Karim Benzema, Vinícius Júnior) as they had four each on the list following their Champions League final clash which the Spanish side won 1 – 0
According to UEFA’s Technical Observer, the stars were selected based on performances in the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League.
