Officials of independent national electoral commission INEC on Saturday have clashed with some voters in the ongoing gubernatorial election in Osun state.
The incident reportedly occurred at polling unit 5, ward 8, Ikire, Irewole LGA of the state
According to information gathered by DAILY GIST, voters disagree with INEC officials over the position of the voting cubicle/ballot box.
The residents, it was learnt insist it must be by the road as opposed to under a shed.
Security operatives present on ground are still trying to restore nolmacy in the area as of press time.
DAILY GIST is reporting that the governorship election in Osun State, South-west Nigeria, is currently going on in all the local government areas of the state and voting has commenced in most polling units
