A serving corp member simply identified as Bright has been confirmed dead at the Osun State orientation camp of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
According to his colleagues at the camp, Bright reportedly went to bed and didn’t wake up the following morning.
The sudden and unexpected nature of his passing has left the camp residents grief-stricken and searching for answers.
Lawrence Echezona, a fellow corps member who was present at the camp, recounted the distressing incident.
“He slept day before yesterday night and couldn’t wake up in the morning,” Lawrence expressed, as he struggled to comprehend the loss of his friend and comrade.
