The residence of the renowned Kaduna Islamic preacher, Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Abubakar Gumi, has been gutted by fire on Saturday.
According to an eyewitness, efforts were on to put off the fire as no life was lost to the incident.
Details of the fire incident remain unknown and no casualties have been recorded
DAILY GIST gathered that residents are still battling to put off the fire as the time of filling this report.
It was also learnt that part of the building was also used as school.
Gumi confirmed the incident, saying ‘it was Allah’s will’. He said, “It was God’s will and the cause unknown because there was no electricity when the incident happened.”
