The Speedtest Global Index(SGI) has announced the current fastest mobile operator in Nigeria in it’s Q1 2021 latest analysis.

Speedtest Intelligence disclosed that Airtel is the fastest mobile operator among top providers in Nigeria so far in 2021 with a Speed Score of 27.18 on modern chipsets.

DAILY GIST from SGI analysis, gathered that Airtel has speed score of 27.18, MTN with 18.7, Glo, 11.47 and 9mobile has 10.22

While examining the percentage of an operator’s known locations where a device has access to 4G LTE service, it was reported that MTN had the best 4G Availability in Nigeria during Q1 2021 at 91.2%.

For Device information, an analysis of performance on some of the fastest phones in Nigeria demonstrated the iPhone 12 Pro Max 5G showed the fastest mean download speed during Q1 2021 with 36.01 Mbps

Port Harcourt showed the fastest mean mobile download speed among Nigeria’s most populous cities during Q1 2021 at 23.02 Mbps.
