President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday has commenced the reshuffling of his cabinet
The President dissolved both the Ministry of Niger Delta and the Ministry of Sports Development.
The presidential, spokesperson Bayo Onanuga stated thid on Wednesday after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, DAILY GIST reports
The National Sports Commission (NSC) will now assume the duties previously managed by the sports ministry.
Additionally, the FEC has approved the merger of the Ministry of Tourism with the Ministry of Culture and Creative Economy.
Meanwhile, a new Ministry of Regional Development will be created to oversee the activities of the newly created zonal development commissions (Niger Delta, North West, South West, North East).
These decision was sequel to Tinubu’s ongoing effort to restructure his administration, consolidating various sectors to enhance efficiency.
