The Nigerian police in ibadan area of Oyo state have attacked June 12 Protesters who are expressing their disatisfaction with the current situation of the country.
The protesters who gathered around 9am on Saturday in ibadan to express their displeasure over the insecurity rocking the nation were dispersed with tear-gas.
DAILY GIST reports that similar protests were being held in Ekiti, Ondo, Osun Abuja and Lagos States on Saturday.
The youths who marched from Mokola to Sango area and chanted “Buhari must go” said President Muhammadu Buhari had failed and must leave for those who are capable of leading a country as complex as Nigeria.
DAILY GIST reliably gathered that police challenged the protesters, fired teargas at them and destroyed placards.
The protesters, undeterred then burst into songs: “Another challenge, double double challenge”.
