BREAKING: Police Fire Tear-Gas At June 12 Protesters

Security operatives including Nigerian police have on Saturday fired tear gas on June 12 Protesters in, Abuja DAILY GIST has gathered.

The protesters who gathered in their numbers on Saturday were seen with  different placards expressing their dissatisfaction with Buhari government over the current situation of the country.

According to them the president has failed in addressing the challenges in the country, including that of insecurity.

The protesters, who chanted “Buhari must go”, “Say no to injustice”, amongst other solidarity phrases, reportedly dispersed for safety when the security operatives started shooting.

All the protesters reportedly ran for cover as the security operatives bombarded the demonstration ground.

Ex-AAC Presidential Candidate and Sahara Reporters Publisher, Omoyele Sowore lead the heavy protest against the Buhari administration in Abuja.

Sowore had earlier announced that a nationwide protest would hold against the Muhammadu Buhari administration over what he described as ‘Bad Governance’ and ‘Corruption’.

The June 12 protesters  were demanding an end to bad governance when they were tear-gassed by the security operatives.
