Affirming Rohr claim on the alleged positive status of COVID-19 in Alex Iwobi, NFF tweeted on Tuesday morning that Iwobi tested negative after COVID-19 tests were carried out on him in Nigeria

Nigeria has secured a ticket to 2022 AFCON hosted by Cameroon after victory against Benin republic. The team will plays its final AFCON qualifying match on Tuesday against Lesotho. It’s however not clear if iwobi is going to be featured in the match
