The Nigerian Senate on Wednesday has unveiled another list of President Bola Tinubu ministerial nominees.
The list contains 19 new ministerial nominees, making 47 altogether with the previous 28 earlier submitted.
The new list understood to be second batch was submitted to the senate chamber during plenary on Wednesday by the chief of staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.
In the new list are former Governors Gboyega Oyetola (Osun state), Simon Lalong (Plateau state), Bello Matawalle (Zamfara state) and Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi state).
Gbajabiamila submitted the second list of the ministerial nominees to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, at exactly 03:19pm on Wednesday.
The senate president, Godswill Akpabio, after receiving the list read out the names of the new nominees.
The list contains nominees from the remaining states of Adamawa, Bayelsa, Gombe, Kano, Kebbi, Kogi, Lagos, Plateau, Osun, Yobe and Zamfara.
Section 147 (3) of the 1999 Constitution mandates the President to appoint at least one minister from each of the 36 states.
