Controversial Nigerian cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky has been secretly transferred from the Ikoyi Correctional Center.
DAILY GIST recalls that that Bobrisky, was sentenced last week to a six-month imprisonment for abusing the Naira with no option of fine.
However, according to LEADERSHIP, the self-acclaimed ‘Mummy Of Lagos’ has now been transferred from Ikoyi prison to Kirikiri where he will serve his jail term
A reliable source within the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS) noted that the decision to move Bobrisky to Kirikiri was based on procedural grounds and security concerns.
The expansive nature of Kirikiri Prison was cited as a factor in the relocation.
The source confirmed that Bobrisky is now housed in the male cell alongside other inmates and will be treated like any other prisoner during his term.
The source said, “It is procedural that he is moved to Kirikiri since it is an expansive prison compared to what we have here,” adding that due to security reasons, Okuneye was quietly moved to the facility where he will serve his term.
The source confirmed that the convict had been taken to the male cell with other inmates “and so he will be treated as a normal inmate,” he said.
Bobrisky is being identified and treated as a male based on his confession at the court.
The prison officials said examination revealed that the crossdresser had no realignment of his gender or change of his male organs surgically or otherwise, as was claimed by Bobrisky.
NCS noted that Bobrisky’s p3nis and other male organs are still intact.
