BREAKING: Army Barracks In Abuja Under Terrorists Attack(Video)

Gunmen suspected to be terrorists have attacked Army Barracks, a millitary check point close to Zuma Rock along Abuja Kaduna expressway.

Some soldiers were said to have been feared killed in the attack.

The military checkpoint where the incident happened is located at Zuma rock, a border between Niger State and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja

According to an eyewitness who made the information available to DAILY GIST on Thursday night, the attack caused gridlock and left travellers stranded in the area.

it was gathered that the troops of the Nigerian Army have arrived the scene to restore nolmacy

In a video forwarded to DAILY GIST, some residents could be seen running helter-skelter on the road as they scamper for safety.

The recent upsurge in terrorist attacks in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja has begun to affect economic activities, causing fear and trepidation among residents, who fear being attacked, killed or kidnapped from their homes.

The daredevil gunmen suspected to be members of the Boko Haram and ISWAP insurgents, causing havoc in many parts of the country have been on a rampage in the nation’s capital.

There has been a series of killing and kidnapping incidents in many parts of the territory, particularly in Kwali and Bwari Area Council of the FCT.
