A video has emerged showing the moment some students of a school were using stones to break their mobile phones.
According to reports, they were allegedly ordered by the Parents’ Association of their school to do so over poor academic performance.
The school is believed to be situated in a state in Northern Nigeria, going by their attire.
In the video, some adults are seen sitting nearby, monitoring the students as they destroy their phones with stones.
One student seemed distressed by this order and was seen wiping tears from her face.
