A video has emerged showing the moment a former house of representative, Shina Peller snubbed the minister of power, Adebayo Adelabu at an event in Oyo state.
It was gathered that the incident happened on Saturday, May 4th, 2024.
The video was shared by a popular news outlet in Oyo State, Oyoaffairs.
DAILY GIST reports that Shina and Adelabu defected to Accord Party before the 2023 election from the All Progressive Congress, APC.
While Shina contested for Oyo North Senatorial District, Adelabu contested for governorship seat in the state.
Few weeks to the election, Peller declared support for the re-election of Governor Seyi Makinde despite being in Accord.
According to him, Makinde has done well for Oke Ogun, hence his adoption by traditional rulers and major stakeholders in the region.
He noted that the alliance was in consideration of continued good governance and betterment of party members and the people of the state in general.
However, after the election, Adelabu returned to the APC, while Shina Peller decamp to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
