A video has emerged online showing the moment Gunmen suspected to be Fulani Kidnappers attack travellers in Enugu state
The video shows the tense moment gunmen ambushed passengers on the road.
In a video shared online, travellers are seen lying in the middle of the road. Some are heard breathing heavily in fear.
One woman screams in a panicked voice, “Stay in the car. Go and lie down flat.”
“Currently facing kidnappers,” the video caption read.
Another video shows travellers lying down dangerously close to the tyres of a truck while the suspected kidnappers approached a bus and its occupants.
The travellers were eventually rescued by the police.
The man who filmed the incident gave the update, writing: “We have been retrieved from the Fulani guys and with the police now. Location Orji River, Enugu State.”
