In what is coming as a really disturbing development, a Nigerian policeman has been caught allegedly r@ping a 16year-old girl in Edo state.
The incident, which has sparked outrage, highlights concerns about police misconduct in Nigeria.
Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has called on the Nigerian police to thoroughly investigate the allegations.
In a post by the actress on X platform, she shared a video of the sad incident captioning it:
“A policeman allegedly rap3s a 16 year old girl inside the police station in South Ibie, Edo state till she loses consciousness!”
The face of the policeman was also caught on the video clip which has gone viral on social media.
Henshaw, known for her strong advocacy on social issues, urged the police to take swift action to ensure justice for the victim and hold the perpetrator accountable if found guilty.
Her public call reflects a broader push for transparency and accountability in handling such cases, especially involving those in law enforcement.
