A Nigerian lady, Sandra Baba has passed away days after a hip surgery, popularly known as Brazilian Butt Lift, BBL, at Cynosure Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
According to information made available online, the Lady died after going for BBL enhancement in the same “Cynosure Anesthetic Plastic Surgery”.
The report said her body is being moved to Kogi State.
The Cynosure Aesthetic Plastic Surgery is a medical facility located in Lagos State.
In 2023, the owner of Cynosure Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Dr. Ogbe Omoruyi, denied the allegation that the medical clinic recorded five deaths in a year.
Ogbe said only two deaths have been recorded in the clinic, noting that it happened in the year 2018 and 2021.
He said: “This can be verified with the Local Government because all local governments have primary health centres where practitioners give reports on the death toll.
“So, we have only two recorded deaths.”
