Some suspected Fulani Herdsmen allegedly attack popular yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho’s Mother in the late hours of Sunday
Igboho’s spokesman, Olayomi Koiki broke the news in a post on his Twitter handle on Sunday evening.
The attack is coming just few days after some self acclaimed soldiers allegedly stormed Sunday Igboho’s house, spying on his residence after declaring an independent Yoruba nation. The soldiers who claimed they are from the federal government however were arrested by the activist.
Shortly after the report, the defense headquarters released a statement deny knowing any of the soldiers
DAILY GIST gathered that three Fulani herders attacked the woman’s house at about 8pm on Sunday, one was reportedly apprehended and while the other two escaped.
Olayomi further added in a viral video that the alleged attacker has been taken to Igboho Police Station for further interrogation.
He wrote, “Chief Sunday Adeyemo’s mother’s house at Igboho was invaded by three Fulani men this evening around 7:54pm. Two of them escaped, one is currently held at Igboho police station.”
