Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, NPF have announced the arrest of three suspected kidnappers at Ebute Igbogbo road, Ikorodu in Lagos State.
The NPF said the suspects were caught by some vigilant residents in the community while trying to perpetrate their acts before handing them over to the police.
DAILY GIST gathered that the suspects attempted to kidnap a car dealer in the area and their mission was foiled by the concerned youths who quickly intervened.
The suspects were seen being stripped nak3d in the viral video as they begged the residents to have mercy on them.
The trio could be seen with blood dripping from parts of their boody while being locked at the back of a Toyota Venza Car
Confirming the incident, the State Police Spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin stated that the three suspects had been arrested and currently in police custody.
He identified them as Taiwo Olayinka aged 30, Azeez Sodiq aged 33 and Saheed Moonstruck aged 23.
He wrote: “Three suspects, Taiwo Olayinka 30, Azeez Sodiq 33 and Saheed Moonstruck 23, have been in our custody since yesterday, shortly after the incident, and efforts are on to arrest the remaining two suspects that escaped. Meanwhile, investigation has commenced.”
“The three arrested are the suspected thieves or kidnappers (investigation would tell which),” he added.
