A Nigerian man identified as Olamilekan Afeez, 30, has been arrested by the Operatives of Nigerian Police In Ondo.
He was apprehended after assaulting a Policeman attached to Okeigbo Division in Ondo state.
The Ondo State Police Command announced the arrest of Azeez in a statement on its X handle on Sunday.
The post reads; “Good morning all, the young man (Olamilekan Afeez aged 30 years) who assaulted a Policeman attached to Okeigbo Division while on duty at Ago Jedi T junction is in Police custody.
Investigation is ongoing to know what led to the Assault. Thanks.”
A video obtained online showed the man slapping the police officer who was on duty at Ago Jedi T junction.
The reason for the faceoff between the man and the officer is yet unknown.
