The APC National leader, Bola Tinubu has been seen in a video answering the title of “Mr President” already ahead of 2023.
In a video seen by DAILY GIST, the ex-Lagos State governor on Saturday was seen speaking with some people when one of them let out the words “Mr. President.”
In the video, Tinubu was heard, saying “thank you very much and I wish you all a safe journey.”
As the ex-governor was about to enter a car parked on the premises, the man simply replied “thank you, sir. Mr. President see you soon. Your Excellency.”
With exactly 563 days until Nigeria’s next presidential election, the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, may have already seen himself occupying the Aso Rock Presidential Villa.
The country’s next presidential election will take place on February 18, 2023, as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on October 15, 2020.
But with 18 months and 2 weeks left for President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure to come to an end, Tinubu, a two-time former Governor of Lagos State, has started answering the title “Mr President”.
He had on Friday received the northern caucus of the House of Representatives led by the Deputy Speaker, Ahmed Idris Wase, in London where he is said to be receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
While he was about leaving the venue of the meeting to his car, a voice in the background of the video said “Mr President, see you soon,” of which Tinubu responded “thank you”.
