A former dancer at Marlian music record, Lil Smart, has narrated his horrible experience in the hands of Nigerian singer, Naira Marley and Show promoter, Sam Larry.
He said Mohbad died because he couldn’t opened up on what was happening to him.
He stated this in a live instagram chat with singer Davido’s crew member, Dre
The dancer in his words, stated that he also face similar h@rassment and intimidation before he left the Marlian Music Record owned by Naira Marley.
According to him, he said: “I paid for an apartment for a year but could not stay their more than two month because they came to attack him, all members of the Marlian’s record with Aboki and they all wore mask to disguise but i recognized them and his guys who were with me quickly approached them told them I’m not around.
“After this, i left for Abuja and returned back, on my return i was also arrested by the police, the first police station where i was taken to could not get enough evidence to detain him but Sam Larry took the matter to the police station in his area where he has his people in the police force and i was det@ined and had to bail myself with 500k later their lawyer called him that I am to pay another 500k for petition fees but in all these i didn’t kept quite.
“I had video evidences and CCTV recording of all their a§§ault against me so i was releasing the video and never kept quite, this was why they left him alone .
According to him, if Mohbad had done the same, he would still be alive now.
The dancer added that if he was aware of what Mohbad was going through, he would have helped him.
Lil Smart also alleged that two former colleagues were driven mentally ill by Naira Marley’s violent lifestyle.
“Broo I’m scared, they killed my Mohbad. The only one encouraging me and giving me hope as we left that devilish label. Do you know, two people ran mad before I left?” Lil Smart said.
Dre assured him not to worry and took to Instagram saying, “God knows I won’t start what I can’t finish, may your spirit not forgive all of us if we don’t make you happy Mohbad.”
The famous dancer revealed that he left the record label in January because he was not appreciated.
DAILY GIST recalls that Lil Smart had also claimed that Mohbad did not die from an ear infection as it was widely reported.
The 25-year-old stated this on his Instagram page on Tuesday while mourning the late singer
Lil smart wrote: “He said it before all this happened. What a wicked industry. “It’s no EAR INFECTION. It’s a lieeeeeee,” he wrote.
