The management of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile -Ife, has announced a two-week mid-semester break, beginning from March 28, 2022.
This was contained in a release made on Saturday, signed by the university’s registrar, Mrs Magaret Idowu Omosule and forwarded to DAILY GIST
The statement read: “This is to inform staff and students of the university that Management, at a meeting held today, Saturday, 26th March, 2022, approved a two-week mid-semester break for students beginning from Monday, 28th March, 2022.
We wish students of the university an enjoyable break.”
Recall that the university had told students not to be distracted by the strike action declared by the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU).
While most federal universities in the country had Shutdown over the ASUU strike, OAU however declared that it won’t Join the industrial action
