Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has abandoned his ‘True Salvation Ministry’ for new faith.
In 2024, DAILY GIST recalls that Yul Edochie had unveiled his Christian ministry, an online church.
The 42-year-old actor’s big announcement left social media users shocked.
Yul, on his official Facebook page, revealed that the ministry’s name is ‘True Salvation Ministry’ (TSM), which would be held on Sundays on the actor’s YouTube Channels.
However, in a significant development, the controversial actor has now declared himself a “hardcore traditionalist.”
Many are surprised by this news, given that the actor founded his own internet church, The Salvation Ministry, last year.
In a recent Instagram post, Edochie declared that he will never quit his forefathers’ faith, implying that he had converted to the traditional religion.
He claimed that fear of public opinion is causing Africans to abandon their original religions.
He wrote: “Because of fear of what people will say, Africans are running away from their powerful religion, their originality. Abomination!
“I will never abandon the ways of my forefathers. It is built on truth, transparency, and fairness. I’m a hardcore traditionalist.”
