The Nigerian National Petroleum Company, NNPC Limited has changed the price of premium motor spirit, also known as petrol just after the removal of Mele Kyari as the Group Chief Executive Officer.

According to a new price template, fuel is now being sold for N950 per litre in Abuja.

The national oil firm raised the price of the product from the previous price of N880 per litre.

In Lagos, the price of the product increased to N925 per litre — from N860

The development comes against the backdrop of a new leadership at the national oil firm.

President Bola Tinubu appointed Mr Bayo Ojulari to replace Mele Kyari on Wednesday, while also restructuring the NNPCL board.
