Recall that DAILY GIST reported earlier that the anti-drug agency Declared him wanted for illicit drug trafficking and for being an active international member of a drug cartel.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA has provided evidence after accusing Commander of Intelligence Response Team (IRT) at the Force Intelligence Bureau of the Nigerian Police Force, DCP Abba Kyari of trafficking in cocaine.
The NDLEA said investigations has revealed that Kyari is a member of drug syndicate that operates across the globe.
NDLEA spokesman Femi Babafemi stated this at a press conference on Monday while briefing Reporters.
Babafemi said the anti-drug agency decided to declare Kyari wanted because he did not honour the invitation sent to him.
Kyari is currently suspended from the Force for alleged involvement in internet fraud perpetrated by convicted fraudster Ramon Abass aka Hushpuppi.
United State authorities said Kyari was a conspirator with Hushpuppi in a $1.1 million deal to defraud a Qatari businessman.
A video shows him in the company of another individual without being known that he’s being taped allegedly engaging in the act.
