A video showing the moment a man was rescued from the rubbles of Ikoyi 21-storey building collapse at about 12am on Tuesday morning has emerged.
The survivor’s name was given as Mayowa Sunday.
In a video obtained by DAILY GIST I. Tuesday, the victim was pulled out from the collapsed building with injuries but was still alive.
DAILY GIST had reported how A 21- storey building that was under construction collapsed in Ikoyi, Lagos on Monday.
Officials of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, are currently at the scene of the incident to salvage the lives of those trapped.
As at the time of filing this report, many people were still trapped in the rubble, including the Managing Director Mr Femi Osibona, who owned the building, and some of his clients and engineers
Meanwhile, No fewer than 10 dead bodies have been evacuated from the scene while the number of rescued persons has risen to four.

The Lagos State Government has reacted to the incident in a statement.
It called for calm among the residents.
The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotosho said rescue agencies were on the ground to save those under the rubble.
He added that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had ordered an investigation into the incident, adding that a report of the probe would be made public.
The state Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, in a statement on Monday also said investigations had commenced to unravel the cause of the collapse.
