President Bola Tinubu has appointed Rinsola Abiola, daughter of the late Chief M.K.O. Abiola, as Director-General of the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC).
This was contained in a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy on Monday
A specialist in strategic communication and government relations, Ms. Abiola previously served as Senior Special Assistant to the President.
The President also named Mr. Nasir Bala Aminu Ja’oji, a former Special Adviser on Mobilisation to the Governor of Kano State and a strong advocate for women and youth empowerment, as Senior Special Assistant on Citizenship and Leadership.
In the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Tinubu reappointed Dr. Muheeba Dankaka as Executive Chairman for another five-year term. He appointed Mohammed Musa as the Commission’s Secretary and retained Ogun State’s Kayode Oladele, a former House of Representatives member who acted as FCC chairman after Dankaka’s first term ended, as Commissioner.
Other reappointments include Lawal Ya’u Roni (Jigawa), Abubakar Atiku Bunu (Kebbi), and Eludayo Eluyemi (Osun).
The President also named 31 new commissioners representing all states and the Federal Capital Territory.
