Popular Ghanaian TikTok star, Ahuofe Abrantie, who was also known as Tupac, has reportedly passed away in his apartment in Kumasi on Thursday.

While details surrounding his death remain unclear, his passing has been confirmed by both popular Kumasi-rapper, Jay Bhad of Asakaa Boys fame, and TV3 Ghana.

Messages of condolences have flooded the social media space in honour of the TikTok star.

Ahuofe became a known face kind courtesy his resemblance of late American rapper, Tupac, earning him the moniker, Ghana Tupac.

Jay Bhad shared a video of Ahuofe on his social media account, with a cryptic caption that read, “Life too short, rest well Ahuofe, you gone (sic) be miss 4ever.”

TV3 Ghana also confirmed the news of his passing with a video and a caption that read, “Popular Ghanaian Tik Toker, Ahuofe reportedly dead.”

Ahuofe rose to fame as a TikToker a few months ago and quickly gained a following due to his unique style and personality.

He often dressed like a ‘gangster’ and amassed an impressive 3.9 million followers and over 39.8 million viewers on his TikTok account, which featured 217 videos.

Ahuofe was known for mimicking the persona of the late American rapper, Tupac Amaru Shakur.

The news of his passing has come as a shock to many of his fans, who have expressed their condolences on social media.

Ahuofe’s contribution to the TikTok community in Ghana will not be forgotten and he will be deeply missed.

Netizens have honoured his memory by posting their favourite comic videos and memes of the funny character.
