The Lagos Police Command has announced that the autopsy on late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba (Mohbad) has been successfully completed.
The spokesperson of the command, Ben Hindeyin disclosed this on Thursday in a tweet on X page.
According to Hundeyin, the force is awaiting the result of the autopsy and further information will be provided to the public as soon as the results are available.
This is coming less than 24 hours the police spokesperson disclosed that the singer’s remains was exhumed from his graveside in the Gberigbe area of Ikorodu for autopsy.
“Autopsy has been concluded. Awaiting results,” he said
DAILY GIST reported that Mohbad passed away on Tuesday, 12th September. However, the cause of his death remains controversial.
Police had earlier exhumed Mohbad’s corpse to conduct an autopsy aa part of the investigation to unravel the cause of the singer’s death.
The death of the late singer has continued to stirred reactions with Nigerians accusing his former boss, Naira Marley, and music promoter, Sam Larry, of being responsible for his death.
This prompted Nigerians to call for justice, while others have taken to the streets in Lagos, Ogun, and other parts of the country, urging the police to fish out his killers.
