An armored vehicle belong to the Nigerian Police force, NPF has been hijacked by suspected hoodlums in Kaduna state.
The incident happened during the ongoing Protest against economic hardship and widespread hunger in the country.
In a video obtained by DAILY GIST on Monday, the protesters were seen celebrating after taken over the police vehicle.
Frustrated citizens took to the street to express their grievances over the hardship and hunger in the country.
Nigerians battle one of the country’s worst inflation rates and economic crises sparked by the government’s twin policies of petrol subsidy removal and unification of forex windows.
President Bola Tinubu and many stakeholders in the country had appealed to the organisers of the hunger protest to suspend the demonstrations.
The adamant youths, however insisted on going on with the Protest until thier demands are addressed.
