The Nigerian police force, Lagos State Command has said the commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, will on Friday address journalists and the public over an ongoing investigation into the death of late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.
The press briefing is slated for 3 p.m. at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja.
The Lagos State Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this on Thursday night.
This is coming following the arrest of Mohbad’s friend, Singer Owodunni Ibrahim, popularly known as Prime Boy who was earlier declared wanted.
“The CP will be addressing the press tomorrow by 3 p.m. Come with all your questions and he will answer them. Until then, I can’t talk,” Hundeyin noted.
Mohbad, a former signee of Naira Marley’s record label, died at the age of 27 in Lagos, the cause of is death remains controversial leading to call for justice from concerned Nigerians.
It was alleged that Naira Marley and Sam Larry subjected Mohbad to rentless bullying which ultimately took a toll on him. The duo have since denied the allegations
