A 200-level female student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife identified as Omoyeni Faith Bukunmi has died at the University College Hospital(UCH), Ibadan following an undisclosed illness
DAILY GIST reliably gathered that the deceased is from Department of Linguistics, Faculty of Art in the institution.
The announcement of her death was contained in a statement issued by President of Linguistics And African Language Students Association, OAU, and forwarded to DAILY GIST on Tuesday.
Abeeb stated the deceased has been battling the undisclosed illness for two weeks before she gave up at UCH, Ibadan on Monday Afternoon.
According to him, Faith was a student who was dedicated to and diligent in her academics.
He added that she was a valued member of the Department of Linguistics and Local Languages.
A lecturer from the department, Dr Akinwumi also described the deceased as a well-mannered, brilliant, easy-going, courteous, Godly and brilliant lady.
