A student, seeking admission into Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU Ile-Ife has allegedly committed suicide following the release of POST-UTME result.
This was revealed in a post shared by a user on X with the name @winexviv on Wednesday.
DAILY GIST gathered that the results of the POST-UTME were released on Tuesday September 9th.
Following complaints by some aspirants, the OAU ICT said the results released on the portal were the scores of all candidates.
According to the director, those suspected of examination malpractice were awarded 20.
It advised anyone who is not satisfied with the result to approach court.
A candidate, simply identified has Bridget has now taken her life after scoring 20 in the POST-UTME.
The post reads: “A young girl named Bridget just took her life because of OAU glitch. This is what I have been trying to avoid. This generation is different.
OAU and UNILAG used the same vendor “Web Test” for their Post-UTME exam recently
conducted. Web Test had a major bug with their useless Ai.
Several students were wrongly flagged as malpractice. And also people were given very strange scores.
How can someone who scored 360 in JAMB be scoring 20 in Post-UTME? The injustice on these youngsters are too much. It needs to stop now!”
