Nigerian Singer and Malian Records label boss, Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley and music promoter Samson Eletu (Sam Larry) have been granted bail by a Lagos magistrates’ court.
The court ordered the pair to provide three sureties, each with N20 million bail. They are expected back in court November 21.
As part of their bail conditions, the court directed them to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department.
The presiding magistrate warned that any attempt to contact her directly would be recorded and disclosed during court proceedings.
The duo were nabbed and detained over their alleged involvement in the controversial death of popular artiste Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.
Meanwhile, Naira Marley and Sam Larry have filed a N40 million breach of fundamental human rights suit before the Igbosere Division of the Lagos High Court.
