The Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, has commenced the recruitment of young qualified graduates for 2024.
The FIRS in a statement on its X page called on graduates to join its team as Tax Officers (Officer Il and Officer I).
It said specific information regarding application procedures, application deadlines and submission details, will be published shortly on our official website.
The statement reads: “We are looking for candidates with integrity and a strong desire to excel professionally, as well as those who possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
“The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) is an equal opportunity employer.
“We encourage all eligible candidates, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or background, to consider applying.
On Wednesday, the FIRS urges interested candidates to act promptly, as the application portal will close in just a few hours.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) with either a first-class or second-class upper distinction.
Additionally, the age limit is set for those born in 1997 or later, although there are reports that 1996 is still selectable due to a possible technical glitch in the system.
