Famous Nigerian activist, Martin Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan has lost defamatory suit filed against him on Tuesday
The court in a ruling ordered VDM to immediately remove defamatory videos made against Human rights activist, Femi Falana, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and his son, Folarin Falana.
Justice M. O. Idowu gave the order while suit no: ID/8584/GCM/2024 on Tuesday.
The court also ordered him to pay N500 million to them for libel, as stated in the pre-action bundle of the judgment.
DAILY GIST recalls that an audio leaked by Verydarkman had indicted Falana and his son, Falz.
According to the leaked audio, Bobrisky alleged that Falz approached him for presidential pardon through the help of his father for N10million
However, according to the judge, the publications made by VeryDarkMan on his social media accounts on September 24, 2024, linking Bobrisky to Falz and his father were defamatory and injurious to their public image.
