President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed the former National President of the National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS), Sunday Adedayo Asefon, as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Student Engagement.
Also, the President has approved the appointment of Ayomide Adeagbo as the Special Assistant on Arts, Culture And Creative Economy.
The appointments were confirmed in statements by the presidency on Friday.
According to the statement, Asefon would be working with the Ministry of Education and engaging with Nigerian students on behalf of the President.
Tinubu also appointed Borno-seasoned journalist Barr. Abdulsalam Mohammad as Special Assistant, Administration.
The newly appointed SA will serve as the Special Assistant Administrator in the office of Vice President Kashim Shettima.
The official communication, conveyed through an appointment letter signed by Sen. George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, on Friday, specifies that Barr. Abdulsalam Mohammad assumes his responsibilities starting on October 20, 2023, with a tenure spanning four years.
