Popular Afrobeat singer Davido and his wife Chioma have reportedly welcomed a set of twins.
This is coming after the couple lost their son Ifeanyi in a tragic accident last year, DAILY GIST reported. It was gathered that the duo welcomed their new babies on Monday in the United States of America.
Although both Davido and Chioma haven’t officialy announced the arrival, congratulatory messages have continued to pour on social media.
According to report, the twins arrived at 9pm on Monday.
The news was first announced by Evangelist Gospel Agochukwu on Tuesday morning.
The cleric uploaded his chat with Davido on the official Facebook page of his church.
According to the chat, Davido confirmed to the cleric that the prophecy he made last year had come to pass.
Agochukwu had in November last year claimed that God told him that Davido and Chioma will welcome twins after the death of Ifeanyi.
Music executive, Ovie, also confirmed the news in a post via X on Tuesday.
He wrote: “Confirmed. Davido and Chioma. Double blessings.”
Meanwhile, several moments later, Davido returned to his social media page to share : “Gonna be the best week of my life. Amen.”
Nigerian singer Davido’s brother, Adewale Adeleke indirectly confirmed reports that the singer recently welcomed a set of bouncing twins.
In a post he made on X (formerly known as Twitter), he wrote: “We thank God.”
