Controversial Nigerian cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky has been released from prison
He regained his freedom from the Kirikiri Correctional Centre on Monday after spending six months in jail for abusing the naira
DAILY GIST recalls that Bobrisky was sentenced to six months imprisonment on April 12, 2024, without an option of fine by Justice Abimbola Awogboro.
Fans had eagerly awaited his release on July 29th, only to be met with disappointment as new information surfaced that his release date has been extended.
In his first video released, Bobrisky is spotted looking posh and beautiful with no indication that he had just spent six months in prison.
In fact, he was even looking like he had gained more weight instead of losing weight as one would expect from someone who was imprisoned.
This sparked off speculation, with social media users even alleging that Bobrisky was never jailed but was simply placed on house arrest
