The All Progressive Peoples Congress, APC has announced the winner of the newly conducted governorship primary election in Edo State
The Party on Friday announced Senator Monday Okpebholo as it’s candidate for the governorship election
DAILY GIST reports that more than one individual had emerged as candidates in the just-concluded primaries headed by Uzodinma.
Governor Hope Uzodinma’s Primary Election Committee on Saturday declared Hon. Dennis Idahosa winner having polled 40,453 votes.
Senator Okpebholo on the other hand was announced winner by the Cheif Returning Officer, Dr. Stanley Ugboaja
While Hon. Dekeri was declared victorious by local government returning officers.
Following the development, the party declared the primary election inconclusive.
Okpebholo emerged victorious iwith 12,433 votes in a fresh election on Friday
