Japa For Free! UK Unveils New List Of Companies Sponsoring Nigerians’ Work Visa In 2024

The United Kingdom, UK has published its list of companies and organizations granted licenses to sponsor skilled immigrants via the temporary worker immigration pathway.

The UK updated its list of companies permitted to sponsor skilled immigrants through the temporary worker immigration route.

Checks on it website revealed the latest list, now includes 113,919 approved companies.

This indicates that 14,063 companies have now been added to the approved list when compared to the 99,856 approved at the start of 2024

The UK High Commissioner in Nigeria, Richard Montgomery, asked visa applicants from Nigeria to avoid third parties during the application.

He assured Nigerians in the UK of their safety and security amid the ongoing unrest in the country.

The British High Commission to Nigeria, Richard Montgomery, has confirmed that about 430,000 visa applications by Nigerians were approved in 2024.

The development was disclosed in a press statement by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission

The list encompasses a diverse range of industries, including technology, commerce, education, media and advertising, and engineering, among others.

Under the skilled worker route, eligible categories include charity workers, skilled workers, creative workers, global business mobility, senior or specialist workers, and international sportspersons.

In a statement obtained by DAILY GIST on its website, the UK government said: “This document lists worker and temporary worker sponsors. It includes information about the category of workers they’re licensed to sponsor and their sponsorship rating.

“The skilled worker route includes charity workers, skilled workers, creative workers, global business mobility: senior or specialist workers, and international sportspersons.”

Interested individuals are encouraged to explore the company’s website and search for job vacancies.
