Comrade Abubakar Musa Barde has call on Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), political parties especially the government at centre to quickly looks into his request or patriotic calls to abolish the primary election of all level by selected individuals refers to as Excos in order to give room for bringing right candidates with qualities character.
Abubakar while speaking with DAILY GIST said It is widely known that the Excos are only voting people who will favour them during the primaries with huge amount of money and end up regretting their votes.
He revealed that it was through these Excos process that those politician who loots public funds used to clinch power and returns home only when another primary comes.
In his word, DAILY GIST quoted him saying, ”We have more than 3m people in each local government in Nigeria but only few selected people called Excos will decide the fate of those 3m without any consultation or making community analysis on the people choice.”
”The FG, INEC, political parties, civil society groups, NBA and all relevant groups should please join hands with us In continue to call on all the above mentioned untill our goal achieve.”
”We are also calling on the national Comrades to share this request in various groups and contact until our call heard by those concern people.”he added
