Famous Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky is considering taking his life following the release of a bribery audio about his imprisonment.

The crossdresser also deleted all posts on his Instagram page.

DAILY GIST recalls that EFCC arrested Bobrisky in April on six counts of money laundering and Naira mutilation.

During his trial at the Federal High Court in Lagos, Justice Abimbola Awogboro dismissed the money laundering charges (counts five and six) and sentenced Bobrisky to six months in prison for Naira abuse.

The judge imposed a six-month prison sentence without the option of a fine, stating that the crossdresser sentence would serve as a deterrent for others who mutilate the Naira.

Bobrisky began his jail term on 24 March and was released from Kirikiri Correctional Centre on 5 August after serving a six-month jail term.

The drama began when VeryDarkMan released a purpoted audio where Bobrisky told an unidentified person in a phone conversation that he paid some unnamed officials of the commission the sum of N15,000,000( Fifteen Million Naira only) for them to drop money laundering charges against him.

He also alleged that he was sent to an apartment to serve his term instead of Kirikiri Prison.

After the audio surfaced, the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ola Olukoyede ordered an immediate investigation into alleged bribery allegations purportedly leveled against its officers.

The Nigerian government also directed a comprehensive investigation into the allegations of bribery and corruption within the Nigerian Correctional Service, NCoS.

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, gave the order in a statement issued on Wednesday by his media aide, Babatunde Alao.

Bobrisky’s leaked audio also indicted singer Falz and his father, human rights activist Femi Falana

He alleged that they approached him to assist with his application for a presidential pardon.

VDM, in his reaction, expressed disgust at Falz and his father for associating with Bobrisky and even asked if Falz ‘dey do.’

Bobrisky had earlier denied the leaked audio released by VDM, describing it as fake.

However, in a defamation suit against Verydarkman on Wednesday, Falz confirmed phone conversations with Bobrisky.

He noted that it was the crossdresser that initiated the phone call

According to him, Bobrisky only asked him for N3m to pay officials for permission to stay in the VIP section of the correctional center.

Falz said VDM also portrayed him as a fake human rights activist without contacting him to hear his side of the story.

Overwhelmed by the situation, Bobrisky expressed feelings of hopelessness and despair in his post.

Taking to his Instagram on Thursday, September 26, Bobrisky said the whole saga is making him think about suicide.

He wrote;

“I have never in my life thought about suicide in my life but now is coming to my head seeing what human being are doing to their fellow human just in D name you want to bring them down by force or because you don’t like them.

I don’t need no sympathy from anyone. People i might have need sympathy from are my late parent.

But who will fight for you? Friends?

HATERS YOU WON.”
