The Head of Forensic, Nigeria Police Force Dr. Shehu Sani Gwarzo (AIGP) at CID Headquarters, Area 10, Abuja has been conferred with distinguished fellow award.
The event had in attendance, the Head of Forensic NPF, Dr. Shehu Sani (AIGP), the DG of Security and Forensic Studies, Dr. Okocha Morgan, serving Police Officers and other distinguished Nigerians.
Dr Okocha Morgan read the Institute’s declaration stating that the Institute has partnered with the Nigeria Police Force, especially its Forensic department to aid the force in combatting crime by making use of forensic approach.

The head of Forensic, Dr. Shehu Sani in his acceptance speech gave a brief history of Forensic in Nigeria and its use in the Nigeria Police force.
He also stated ways by which forensic has been used to fight crime and criminality in the Nigeria society.
The AIGP further expressed his profound joy in being awarded such a prestigious award. He went further to reiterate his unalloyed desire to continue his and the Police partnership with Security and Forensic Studies Nigeria to achieve common
goals.
