A final year pharmacy student of University of Benin, Edo State has been reportedly killed by some gunmen suspected to be armed robbers.
According to reports, she was attacked by some unknown assailants on Thursday, March 3 at her residence in Osasogie.
Susan before her demise was billed to graduate in few months time
A source familiar with the incident said: “Some residents in the area went to buy a bag of water and overhead some guys saying, “e be like say we go soon start to rob for this Osasogie.’ The residents — a man and his girlfriend—swiftly took to their heels when they heard that
They were followed to their compound by the robbers, who demanded that they hand up their phones. They also demanded the man’s vehicle keys.
Susan was on her way out the door to see off a visitor who had no idea what was going on when she was approached by robbers who shot her. After the incident, one of the robbers screamed that his fellow robber shouldn’t have killed her.
She was rushed to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital(UBTH) and bled profusely. She passed away on Saturday, March 5.”
In reaction, friends of Susan Oboh, a final year pharmacy student of University of Benin, Edo State, have been thrown into mourning following her demise.
