The Nigerian government has allocated significant funds for federal universities in the country in its 2025 budget.
The allocations aimed at enhancing the quality of education, infrastructure, and research capabilities in these institutions
The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) receives the highest allocation of N44.38 billion.
Other universities such as the University of Calabar (UNICAL) and Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria also received substantial allocations of N37.26 billion and N36.76 billion, respectively.
