In choosing these top Social media influencers, DAILY GIST looked at different social media networks and picked the top on those platforms with number of quality and engaged followers. The list also cuts across different professions.
Below is a list of the top 20 biggest social media influencers based on quality followers and engagement on Instagram and Twitter.

Davido is the highest-ranked influencer in Nigeria.
He was ranked 53rd in the world on Instagram with over 20million followers.
According to reports, he earns around $128,300 per post, making him the biggest Instagram celebrity in Nigeria.
The popular Nigerian singer has just also attained 10million followers on Twitter.
2. Wizkid
Wizkid is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He began recording music at the age of 11 and released a collaborative album with the Glorious Five, a group he and a couple of his church friends formed. In 2009, Wizkid signed a record deal with Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E).
